Chimney Repair & Restoration
We Solve Problems. We Stop Leaks.
Our Repair & Restoration Services
Chimney Restoration
Full chimney rebuilds and structural restoration for aging or damaged chimneys. Whether it is deteriorated mortar joints, crumbling brick, or a chimney that has shifted over time, we restore it to safe, functional condition.
Leak Repair
We stop leaks. Water intrusion is the most common chimney problem we see, and we diagnose the source before we start swinging a hammer. Flashing, crowns, chase covers, and waterproofing — we identify the entry point and fix it right.
Damper Repair
Stuck, rusted, or broken dampers repaired or replaced. We also install high-efficiency top-mounted dampers that seal tighter than factory throat dampers, reducing energy loss and keeping rain, animals, and cold air out of your home.
Pressure Washing & Weathersealing
Restore your chimney's appearance and protect it from the elements with professional pressure washing and weatherseal application. This is especially important for chimneys showing signs of staining, moss growth, or surface deterioration.
Stainless Steel Chimney Liners
Protect your chimney from the inside out. A new stainless steel liner improves safety, draft, and efficiency. Liners are essential when the original clay tile liner is cracked, deteriorated, or missing — which is more common than most homeowners realize.
Smoke Chamber Repair
The smoke chamber sits just above the firebox and funnels smoke into the flue. Over time, the mortar deteriorates, brick faces spall, and gaps form — creating fire hazards and draft problems. We parge and seal smoke chambers to restore a smooth, safe surface that improves draft and meets current fire safety standards.
Custom Sheet Metal Fabrication
Need something custom? We fabricate sheet metal components in-house — including custom chase cover replacement, flashing, decorative shrouds, and specialty pieces. No waiting on third-party suppliers, no generic off-the-shelf parts that do not fit right.
Smoke Chamber Repair: Before & After
This is one of the most common — and most overlooked — chimney repairs. The smoke chamber sits directly above the firebox, and when the mortar between the corbeled bricks deteriorates, it creates gaps that trap creosote, reduce draft, and increase fire risk. We parge the entire chamber with a heat-rated refractory morite, sealing every joint and creating a smooth surface that moves smoke efficiently into the flue.

Have a Chimney Problem? Let's Solve It.
Small Problems Become Expensive Ones
Water is a chimney's worst enemy. A small crack in the crown, deteriorated flashing, or a failed chase cover lets water in — and once water gets in, the damage compounds quickly. What starts as a minor issue turns into rusted dampers, deteriorated mortar joints, stained ceilings, and mold behind walls. In freeze-thaw climates like ours, water that seeps into masonry expands when it freezes, cracking bricks and mortar from the inside out.
The sooner you address chimney issues, the less it costs to fix. We have seen too many chimneys that needed full structural restoration because a $300 repair was ignored for a few years. A cracked crown that costs a few hundred dollars to seal today can lead to thousands in water damage if left unchecked.
If you have noticed water stains on your ceiling near the chimney, a musty smell from your fireplace, white staining on the exterior brick, or pieces of mortar in your firebox, do not wait. These are signs of active water damage that will only get worse.
We Show You Before We Fix
Before we recommend any repairs, we document everything with digital photos and send them directly to you. You will see rooftop conditions, chimney interior, flue liner, flashing, and any areas of concern — the same images we use to make our assessment. There is no guessing, no pressure, and no surprises. You see exactly what we see and make an informed decision about how to proceed.
Our customers consistently mention this transparency in their reviews. When you can see the problem with your own eyes, you understand why the repair matters and can feel confident that the work is necessary.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my chimney needs repair?
Common signs include water stains on the ceiling near the chimney, white staining (efflorescence) on exterior brick, a musty smell from the fireplace, crumbling mortar joints, pieces of mortar or brick in the firebox, and visible cracks in the chimney crown. If you notice any of these, call us for an inspection — small problems caught early are far less expensive to fix than the water damage they cause if ignored.
How much does chimney repair cost?
Chimney repair costs vary widely depending on the type and extent of the damage. Minor repairs like crown sealing or small mortar joint work can start at a few hundred dollars, while full chimney restorations involving structural rebuilding cost more. We provide inspections with digital photos so you can see exactly what needs attention, and we give you an honest estimate before any work begins. No surprises.
Can you fix a chimney leak?
Yes — leak repair is one of our most common services. Chimney leaks can come from multiple sources: a cracked crown, deteriorated flashing, a failed chase cover, missing or damaged chimney caps, or deteriorated mortar joints. We diagnose the exact source of the leak before recommending repairs, so you are not paying to fix something that is not the actual problem. We stop leaks — it is what we do.
How do I get an estimate for chimney repair?
Call us at (423) 892-2670 or book online to schedule an inspection. We will come to your home, assess the chimney, take digital photos of any issues, and give you an honest recommendation with transparent pricing.
